The Spirax Sarco SP7-1 Intelligent Positioner controls any valve actuated by a NAMUR-compliant straight or angle stroke pneumatic actuator. It guarantees an exact proportionality between the valve travel and the value of the electrical input signal (mA) transmitted to the positioner.
\nThe positioner has a die-cast aluminum housing, is outdoor mountable, and can be mounted on pneumatic actuators with angular travel of -57\u00b0 to 57\u00b0 or straight travel of -28\u00b0 to 28\u00b0. Available with or without a mounting kit and with or without a pressure gauge kit; specify type when ordering. Accepts mA signals as control signals with air supply pressures from 1.4 - 6 bar, also available for reaction control.
\nIt has a local communication interface (LCI) and also offers \"HART\u00ae communication (optionally HART\u00ae5 or HART\u00ae7). Options such as the SP7-11 with Profibus PA module or the SP7-22 with Foundation Fieldbus module are also available. In addition to analog position setpoint inputs, digital inputs are available for activating device control system functions, and digital outputs can output messages (alarms\/faults).<\/p>\n
