The Spirax Sarco EL2600 Pressure Transmitter consists of a pressure sensor and transmitter designed for industrial applications with a 2-wire 4-20mA current loop and \u00bc\" NPT connections. Two types of \"U\" tube and valve are available, with maximum design pressures of 25 bar g and 80 bar g respectively.<\/p>\n

Pressure range and overload pressure<\/h3>\n

Different pressure ranges correspond to different overload pressures, e.g. 0 - 1.6 bar a, 0 - 2.5 bar a range has an overload pressure of 10 bar, when the pressure exceeds the overload pressure, even for a short period of time, the sensor will be damaged, if there is a possibility of overpressure, it is recommended to use a pressure snubber or to choose a pressure transmitter with a higher range, although it may reduce the signal resolution.<\/p>\n

connection method<\/h3>\n

For fluid temperatures below 100\u00b0C, the EL2600 can be mounted directly to the piping via a \u00bc\" NPT fitting; for temperatures above 100\u00b0C, a \"U\" tube and shut-off valve must be installed between the EL2600 and the piping or vessel.<\/p>\n

Installation and maintenance<\/h3>\n

Temperatures above 100\u00b0C require the use of a \"U\" tube and shut-off valve. No special maintenance is required, but annual rechecking and inspection is recommended, as described in the Installation and Maintenance Guide IM - GCM - 10.<\/p>\n
