This sightglass is used to detect downstream discharge from steam traps on pressurized condensate recovery piping. Therefore, it is recommended that the sight glass be inspected periodically. In case of thinning, the glass should be replaced immediately. When viewing, take care to wear safety goggles to protect your eyes. Measures should be taken to ensure that in the event of failure of the viewing glass, the broken glass will not cause injury to personnel and equipment.<br \/>\nInstallation: The sight glass is threaded directly to the trap outlet. Although the sight glass can be installed in any orientation, it must be oriented in the same direction as the steam trap.<br \/>\nDisposal: This product can be recycled and proper disposal will not cause environmental problems.
