When used in horizontal piping for steam or gas, the filter body should be kept in a horizontal plane; in liquid systems, the valve body should be in a vertical downward position. To facilitate maintenance and replacement, suitable shut-off valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the filter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maintenance Tips<\/strong>: The filter can be serviced directly on the pipeline by observing safe operating procedures.
