Spirax Sarco M841 Flow Calculator

The Spirax Sarco M841 flow computer can be used in conjunction with ILVA piping units for the measurement of a wide range of media, including steam, water and compressed air. Available in a variety of mounting configurations for wall and panel mounting, the M841 provides density compensation for saturated and superheated steam and displays cumulative flow, instantaneous flow, temperature, pressure, and density in response to incoming pressure or temperature signals.

mounting

The disk-mounted instrument is fixed to the instrument panel by two mounting brackets (supplied), and the wall-mounted type is fixed to the wall or column by three M6 screws.

caveat

If UPS power supply is used, in order to prevent high-frequency signal interference, it is best to install a 10VA isolation transformer on the power supply circuit.

Options and Weights

• Wall-mounted type: with stainless steel meter box, weight 8kg, external power supply 220V, internal voltage regulator to 24Vdc for use.
• Tray-mounted: mounted on a console or existing control cabinet, weight 2kg, can be supplied with 220Vac as standard, 24Vdc as an option (to be specified when ordering).
