The Spirax Sarco AEL7 series electric actuator is a cost-effective electric actuator with linear output for Spirax Sarco Spira - Trol 2-way and QL 3-way valves, as well as for Hiter 85 and 1000 series control valves. The actuator is normally supplied already mounted on the control valve. When the actuator is supplied separately, it is necessary to ensure that the selected actuator has sufficient thrust to close the 2-way or 3-way control valve within the desired differential pressure.

Available Models

The series is available in 4 power supply models: 230Vac, 115Vac, 24Vac and 24 Vdc. can accept VMD control signals, or (0) 4 - 20mA or (0) 2 - 10Vdc control signals. Auxiliary limit switches and anti-condensation heaters are also available. With appropriate valve adapters and mounting flanges, the following valves can be used:

Installation of the AEL7 series actuators requires connection to a power source. Installers need specialized knowledge of circuits and systems and inherent hazards, as well as an understanding of the operating principle of linear actuators. Only qualified personnel should operate the actuator under these conditions.

Approval options: L and K series DN15 - 100 assembled with AEL7T with spring type can be supplied with EN14597 approval for complete valves with body and actuator, which must be noted when placing the order.EN14597 approval applies only to DN15 - 100 valves with seat option T - 431 stainless steel and standard type inner parts. All other sizes, valve internals and seat option types are excluded from the scope of this safety standard.
