Description

Spirax Sarco Spirax Sarco M16Vi and M16Si ball valves are used for isolation shutoff and are designed for use with steam and other industrial fluids. Lockable handles are included by default, allowing direct access without complete removal from the pipeline. The valves can be manually/remotely controlled and are designed with an integral ISO platform for easy installation of automatic actuators without compromising sealing. Models available include M16Vi4 (ISO stainless steel ball valve, plain PTFE seat) and M16Si4 (ISO stainless steel ball valve, reinforced PTFE seat). Products are fully compliant with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).

  • FB: 3/8", ½", ¾", 1", 1¼", 1½" BSP thread and butt weld, DN10 to DN40 flange PN16

Safety information and installation

  • Welding specifications for bulk packaging, both sides of the connection port welded to the pipeline, must wait for the end cap to cool down before assembling the valve body to the end cap to avoid high temperature damage to the valve seals.
