Spirax Sarco Spirax Sarco S7 Separator in Carbon Steel

Spirax Sarco Spirax Sarco S7 Carbon Steel Separators are used to remove liquids from steam, compressed air and gas systems. Depending on the application, a suitable steam trap (FT) or liquid venting valve (CA) needs to be installed to remove condensate/liquid. FT Float Traps and AV Air Vents are installed for steam applications; CA Float Drain Valves are installed for compressed air/gas applications.

This product complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC. It is designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 13445:2002 - "Pressure vessels not subject to fire".

Certification

This product can be supplied with material certificate EN 10204 3.1. Other certificates are also available at extra cost, please consult Spirax Sarco. Note: If certificates are required, please specify when ordering.

Sizes and pipe connections

The caliber is DN65, DN80, DN100, DN125, DN150, DN200, DN250, DN300 and DN350.

• Flanges EN 1092 PN16 or PN40 with BSP threaded drain and vent ports.
• Flanges ANSI B16.5 Class 150 or 300 with NPT threaded drain and vent ports.
• Flange JIS/KS 20K with BSP threaded drain and vent.
• Other connections such as threaded, socket welded, etc. are also available (Spirax Sarco).

Pressure/Temperature Limits

If pressures and temperatures exceed the above operating conditions, consult Spirax Sarco to special order.

Installation Instructions

To ensure effective condensate removal, suitable float traps and air venting valves need to be installed. For compressed air/gas applications, a counterbalance line is required between the CA trap and the main line or the top of the separator, consult Spirax Sarco for details.
