Spirax Sarco Spirax Sarco S8 Stainless Steel Separator DN80 PN16

Spirax Sarco S8 Stainless Steel Separators DN65-DN350 are used to remove liquids from steam, compressed air and gas systems. Depending on the application scenario, steam applications require the installation of an FT float trap and AV air venting valve; compressed air/gas applications require the installation of a CA float drain valve.

This product complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and is designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 13445:2002 - "Pressure vessels not subject to fire".

Certification

Material certificate EN 10204 3.1 is available for this product, other certificates are also available (extra charge applies, please consult Spirax Sarco), if certificate is required, please specify when ordering.

Sizes and pipe connections

Caliber: DN65, DN80, DN100, DN125, DN150, DN200, DN250, DN300, DN350.
Flange connection:
- EN 1092 PN16 or PN40 with BSP threaded drain and vent ports.
- ANSI B16.5 Class 150 or 300 with NPT threaded drain and vent ports.
- JIS/KS 20K with BSP threaded drain and evacuation ports.
Other connections: Other connections such as threaded, socket welded, etc. are also available (consult Spirax Sarco).

Installation Instructions

To ensure effective condensate removal, suitable float traps and air venting valves need to be installed. For compressed air/gas applications, a counterbalance line is required between the CA trap and the main line or the top of the separator, consult Spirax Sarco for details.
