The Spirax Sarco EP6 electrical positioner can be used with linear or rotary actuators conforming to the NAMUR connection, so that the control valve stroke corresponds exactly to the input signal (mA) of the positioner.The EP6 positioner is housed in a die-cast aluminum enclosure and can be mounted outdoors. They are available for linear actuators with travel ranges from 20 mm to 150 mm and for rotary actuators with travel ranges from 55 to 90°. The positioner mounting kit is available in a variety of options, and the model number must be specified when ordering.The EP6 positioner comes standard with a pressure gauge to indicate the compressed air pressure output to the actuator. The actuator can accept a mA control signal with a maximum compressed air pressure of 7 barg. the EP6 positioner can also be used in positive or negative action. the EP6 positioner must be operated with high quality air, the compressed air quality must be in accordance with ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 3:3:2. the EP6 positioner can be used on the BVA300, PN9000 Series, TN2000 series, DC series and other Spirax Sarco actuators and other actuators with NAMUR connections.
