Spirax Sarco SPIRAX SARCO MPC2M/MPC2AM High Efficiency Compressed Air Filter/Regulator

Spirax Sarco Spirax Sarco MPC1M, MPC2M and MPC2AM high efficiency compressed air filters/regulators provide high quality compressed air for precise pressure control for pneumatic actuators and general purpose systems.

This series of products are (self relieving) high efficiency oil removal filters/regulators with compact miniature design, self relieving function and very high efficiency, over 99.95% in D.O.P. test. its oil carryover is less than 0.0255mg/m³ (0.02ppm), 100% of water removal at line temperature, with polycarbonate bowl, black exterior anodized, with a particle filtration efficiency of 99.961 TP3T and a reduced inlet dry pressure of 1.5 psi d.

Application Areas

It is used to provide high quality compressed air for applications that require particularly high compressed air quality, such as machine tool air bearings, air measurement equipment, instrument air supply, jet systems, breathing air, pneumatic positioners etc.

caveat

• Only the MPC1M is suitable for use in hazardous area environments where the unit does not generate an elevated temperature or source of ignition during operation and is classified as being outside the hazardous area limits.
• In hazardous environments, standard pressure gauges must not be used and the pressure gauge supplied with the Spirax Sarco positioner should be used to properly set the inlet pressure to the positioner.
• MPC2M and MPC2AM must not be used in hazardous environments.
• Local regulations may restrict the use of this product to less than specified conditions.

Note: S = standard; OE = optional; - = not available. Tamper-resistant caps with locking seals are recommended as an optional accessory for MPC2M and MPC2AM kit components.

• FK21 fixing kit: For mounting the MPC_M to a Spirax Sarco PN series pneumatic actuator, an aluminum mounting ring must also be specified.
• Type 8 Mounting Bracket and Mounting Ring: For general installation, specify both galvanized mild steel brackets and aluminum mounting rings when placing an order.
• Optional Pressure Gauge: Available in two sizes (1½" and 2") and three pressure ranges (0 - 2 bar, 0 - 7 bar, 0 - 11 bar, corresponding to 0 - 30 psi, 0 - 100 psi, 0 - 160 psi), specify size and pressure range when placing an order.

Performance options (primary pressure 10 bar)

There is a maximum recommended air flow rate for any given primary filtration pressure. Staying within this flow range ensures that cartridge performance is maintained at a high efficiency level, especially in the removal of oil and water contaminants. Using the product outside of this range may reduce oil removal efficiency.

Please specify quantity, size, type and any options required. Unless otherwise specified, filters/regulators will be supplied with 0.7 - 9.0 bar g control springs and polycarbonate bowls with drainage.
Example: 1 x ¼" MPC2M high efficiency compressed air filter/regulator with 0.3 - 4.0 bar g control spring; 1 x kit for mounting the MPC2M to a Spirax Sarco PN pneumatic actuator.
