Spirax Sarco's Spirax Sarco AEL6 series of intelligent electric actuators are reversible actuators with linear outputs for DN15 to DN100 control valves. The series is available in four power input models: 230Vac, 115Vac, 24Vac and 24Vdc, and the standard models receive VMD (valve motor drive) signals, 0/4 - 20mA or 0/2 - 10Vdc control signals. With appropriate valve adapters and mounting flanges, they can be used for 2-way valves (e.g., SPIRA-TROL) and 3-way valves (e.g., QL33, QL43, QL63, and QL73).

Precautions for installation and use

The valve should be mounted on horizontal piping. The mounting position of the actuator depends on the type of valve and the temperature of the medium. It is not recommended to install the actuator with its deviation from the vertical position exceeding 90 degrees or in a humid environment.
