Spirax Sarco Spirax Sarco BVA310/BVA315/BVA320/BVA325/BVA330/BVA335/BVA340 Pneumatic Actuators

The Spirax Sarco BVA300 series pneumatic actuator is used to actuate Spirax Sarco ball valves in a variety of broad industrial applications. This series of actuators has bi-directional stroke limitation for 90º ± 5º rotation and the new BVL-X connection with extended stem. Its pneumatically actuated ball valves cover a wide range of three-stage, two-stage and one-stage ball valve models.

• solenoidsNamur solenoid valves are available for BVA actuators with IP65 encapsulation to control compressed air or non-corrosive gases entering the actuator, and can be supplied in explosion-proof versions. Solenoid valve coil voltages are 3/2 NAMUR for single acting actuators (220VAC, 110VAC, 24VAC/dc) and 5/2 NAMUR for double acting actuators (220VAC, 110VAC, 24VAC/dc).

Selection table

The selection table (pages 4 - 12) is used to select the correct pneumatic actuator for the relevant Spirax Sarco ball valve, for valves not appearing in the table, please contact Spirax Sarco. It contains the selection for different types of ball valves such as 3-stage ball valves, 2-stage ball valves, one-piece ball valves, etc. The BVA actuator model and BVL connector model are matched according to the ball valve model, nominal diameter (DN), and actuator working pressure.

How to Order

The selection chart (pages 4 - 11) must be consulted before ordering.
Ordering example: 1 Spirax Sarco BVA320S/8 actuator, 1 MV13 24 Vac solenoid valve, 1 set of BVL303X connections, 1 LSB72 limit switch box.
Note: Pneumatic ball valves are factory assembled according to the application.

Spare Parts

Spare parts available include type ring assemblies (available in NBR, Viton or Silicon), pinion washers and other parts (Specific Nos. 5,6,10,17,18). All of the above mentioned spare parts are supplied as a unified spare parts package.
Spare parts are usually ordered using the description in the "Spare parts available" column and indicating the model number of the pneumatic actuator.
