Spirax Sarco Fig34 Carbon Steel Filter - ASTM Standard Material

Description

Spirax Sarco Fig34 carbon steel Y-strainer with flange connection is made of ASTM standard material. Standard stainless steel strainer, DN15 to DN80 pore size of 0.8mm, DN100 to DN200 pore size of 1.6mm, and other pore sizes, mesh sizes and monel alloy strainer are available. The threaded holes on the filter bonnet can be drilled as required to connect with a drain or discharge valve, and low-temperature carbon steel filters are also available.

Certification

Material certificate EN 10204 2.2 is available on request. Body and bonnet material certificate EN 10204 3.1.B is also available on request, to be specified when ordering.

Sizes and pipe connections

Bore sizes are DN 15, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 125, 150 and 200; standard flange connections are ANSI Class 150 and 300, JIS/KS 20.

Installation Tips

The filter should be installed horizontally in the direction of flow on the housing. When applied to horizontal piping for steam or gases, the filter body should be kept in a horizontal plane, while in liquid systems, the body should be in a vertical downward position.

The gasket of the filter bonnet contains a thin support ring that can cause bodily harm if not handled properly.
