The FTGS14HC is a Spirax Sarco float steam trap (1" threaded connection) with an austenitic stainless steel body, a built-in automatic air vent, and a nickel-plated ductile iron cover for good corrosion resistance, and in-line maintenance without piping disassembly.

- In addition to an air vent, this model has a Steam Lock Relief (SLR) to prevent steam locking in the system, and is designated with the letter C. Please contact Spirax Sarco for further information.
- A 3" BSP or NPT threaded hole can be drilled in the top of the bonnet for mounting a counterbalance tube.
- A 3/" BSP or NPT threaded hole can be drilled in the bottom of the bonnet for mounting a bleeder valve.

Discharge shown is based on condensate discharge at saturation temperature. During the startup phase, the condensate is cold and the thermostatic air vent is open to provide additional condensate discharge. The additional cold water displacement from the evacuation air valve at different pressure differentials is shown below:
