Spirax Sarco Spirax Sarco SVL488 Stainless Steel Safety Valve for Clean Systems DN40

Spirax Sarco SVL488 Clean System Stainless Steel Safety Valve is a stainless steel body, full stroke safety valve, TÜV certified for steam, gas and liquid systems. It is suitable for overpressure protection of low pressure steam equipment, piping, pressure vessels, and is particularly suitable for the brewing and beverage industry, where it meets extremely high standards of hygiene and cleanliness and reduces contamination of process media.

• SVL488-B: Sealed bonnet for liquid systems.
• SVL488-C: Packing seal microlift lever for steam (or other wrench required) systems.
  Note: Both models have closed bonnets.

Certification

Each SVL488 safety valve is supplied with a manufacturer's typical test report including valve set pressure and liquid test pressure. Material certificates to EN 10204 3.1 are also available on request.

Standards and certifications

Certified by TÜV according to AD MerkblattA2,TRD412 and Td TÜV SV100. Complies with the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC and belongs to Class 4 of the product classification for Group 1 and 2 fluids (gases and liquids). Consult SPECTRO for fluid compatibility.
