Description
Product Overview
Spirax Sarco BTS1050 boiler blowdown timer is designed to control a bottom blowdown valve. It allows the valve to open at scheduled intervals, removing precipitated solids and sludge that could otherwise build up and cause damage to the boiler walls due to excessive heat. The unit utilizes a battery-backed real-time clock (RTC) to manage separate blowdown schedules for each weekday, ensuring automated and precise sludge removal.

Key Features
- Purpose-designed for bottom blowdown duties in steam boilers.
- Battery-backed real-time clock (RTC) with separate timers for each weekday.
- Priority link and recovery timer support up to nine linked units to prevent multiple boilers from blowing down simultaneously.
- Standby input (24 Vdc) reduces boiler water loss during low demand or standby operation.
- Limit switch monitoring warns if the bottom blowdown valve fails to open or close.
- Password protection for parameter settings.
