Spirax Sarco FT44-10 Carbon Steel Ball Float Steam Traps DN80/DN100

Spirax Sarco FT44 carbon steel float steam traps (DN80 and DN100) with built-in automatic air venting device are flanged and available for horizontal installation only. A 2" BSP or NPT threaded hole can be drilled in the bonnet for installation of a vent valve if required. This product complies with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and can be supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate (please specify when ordering if a certificate is required).

• Maximum allowable PMA pressure: 40 bar g @ 100°C
• TMA Maximum Allowable Temperature: 300°C
• Minimum permissible temperature: -10°C
• Maximum working pressure under PMO saturated steam: 32 bar g @ 239°C
• TMO Maximum Operating Temperature: 300°C @ 27.5 bar g
• Minimum operating temperature (consult Spirax Sarco for low temperature applications): -10°C
• ΔPMX maximum differential pressure: 4.5 bar for FT44-4.5, 10 bar for FT44-10, 21 bar for FT44-21, 32 bar for FT44-32
• Design maximum cold hydraulic test pressure: 60 bar g (note: test pressure must not exceed 48 bar g with internal components installed)

Refer to the Installation and Maintenance Guide (IM-S02-30) supplied with the product for detailed information. INSTALLATION TIP: Install in the direction of flow as shown on the valve body, making sure the float arm is positioned horizontally so that the float can rise and fall freely and vertically. This product is recyclable and will not harm the environment if disposed of properly.
