Maintenance and Renewal Procedure
Inspect the pilot filter element during the recommended 12 to 18 month routine maintenance overhaul, or immediately after system commissioning.
- Isolate the pressure reducing valve and verify upstream and downstream pressures are fully vented to zero.
- Unscrew the pilot filter cap (item 16) using an appropriate wrench.
- Carefully withdraw the pilot filter element (item 17) from the pilot chamber.
- Clean internal seating surfaces, insert the replacement element, and reinstall the cap gasket.
- Tighten the pilot filter cap to 90 - 100 N m (66 - 74 lbf ft). The stainless steel gasket is re-usable.
